进入大学后,学生面临就业前景迷茫的问题,不少同学在大学繁重复杂的生活中迷失了人生前进的方向。而大学阶段的英语不仅仅是一门语言,更是一种认知与提升的工具,因此需要通过英语角等活动更好明确学生的梦想,激发学生对生活的希望与对前途的向往,为学生走向成功创造条件。
After entering the university, students are faced with the problem of confused employment prospects, and many students have lost the direction of life in the heavy and complicated life in the university. College English is not only a language, but also a tool for cognition and improvement. Therefore, activities such as English corner are needed to better clarify students’ dreams, stimulate students’ hopes for life and prospects, and create conditions for students to succeed.
三、 活动意义(The meaning of activity)
一个人如果无法对自己有清楚的认知,他就无法更好认知世界。罗曼罗兰曾经说过,“一种梦想就是一种力”。那么,人应该如何去更好认知自己?是树立远大的梦想,又或是完成当下的任务?让我们通过本次英语角进行交流。
If a person does not have a clear understanding of himself, he cannot better understand the world. Romain Rolland once said, “A dream is a force.” So, how should people know themselves better? Is it to set up a big dream, or to accomplish current tasks? Let’s talk through this English corner.

(二)自由讨论(free discussion):
1.What’s your dream?
(你的梦想是什么?)
2.What have you fought for your dreams?
(你为你的梦想为之奋斗了什么?)
3.During this period, do you feel that everything you do is meaningful?
(在这期间你感觉你觉得你做的事情都有意义吗?)
4.What else should we do on the road to pursuing our dreams?
(逐梦路上我们还需要做什么?)

八、活动目的(The purpose of activity)
(一)通过此次活动,旨在提升学生的英语口语能力,激发学生对自我的认识,加强学生对前途的规划。
Through this activity, the aim is to improve students’ oral English ability, stimulate students’ self-understanding, and strengthen students’ future planning.
(二)扩展社交圈子,培养学生与人沟通的能力与自信心的建立。Expand social circle, cultivate students’ ability to communicate with others and build self-confidence.
(三)激发学生对英语的热情与兴趣,在英语的交谈中展现个人的风采。
Arouse students’ enthusiasm and interest in English and show their personal style in English conversation.
