11月30日15:00，致远住宿书院“一站式”学生社区在西九学生公寓一楼烘焙研修社举行以“运动”为主题的第六期英语角活动。

On November 30th at 3:00 PM, the "one-stop" student community of Zhiyuan Residential College held the 6th Sias English Corner themed "Sports" in the Baking Club on the first floor of No. 9 Student Apartment.

活动伊始，主持人热情洋溢地开场，用流利的英语欢迎每一位参与者的到来，瞬间拉近了彼此的距离。随后，主持人娓娓道来选择“运动”作为主题的原因：无论身处哪个国家，人们都热衷于通过运动来释放活力。接着，主持人详细介绍活动的各个环节安排，轻松愉悦的氛围也随之在现场弥漫开来，宛如奏响了一曲运动交流的前奏，成功吸引大家全身心投入到活动之中。

At the beginning of the event, the host warmly opened the proceedings, greeting each participant with fluent English, instantly bridging the gap between everyone. Then, the host eloquently explained the reason for choosing "Sports" as the theme: no matter which country one is in, people are passionate about releasing their energy through sports. Following that, the host detailed the various segments of the event, and a relaxed and joyful atmosphere began to permeate the venue, much like the prelude to a symphony of sports exchange, successfully drawing everyone fully into the activity.

在这个环节中，参与者们通过讲述各自与运动的故事，展现运动在不同人生活中的独特印记以及带来的丰富体验。参与者们分享了自己对喜爱运动的热爱，是如何开始接触某一项运动的，以及在运动过程中遇到的困难与挑战，分享运动给自己带来的收获，在用英语交流的过程中，也促进不同文化背景下关于运动理解的交流与融合。

In this segment, participants shared their personal stories with sports, showcasing the unique imprint and rich experiences that sports bring to different people's lives. They expressed their passion for their favorite sports, how they first got involved in a particular activity, and the difficulties and challenges they encountered during the process. They also shared the gains they received from sports. Throughout the English communication, it also facilitated the exchange and integration of understandings about sports from different cultural backgrounds.

——创意无限，笑语连连

Draw and Guess

——Infinite Creativity, Laughter Galore

为了让活动的氛围更加热烈，“你画我猜”小游戏闪亮登场。这个小游戏由老师比划，多个参与者共同猜词。无论是抽象的艺术表达还是夸张的肢体动作，都引得在场的观众捧腹大笑。这个游戏不仅考验了大家的默契程度，更在欢声笑语中增进了彼此间的友谊。

To further enliven the atmosphere, the "Draw and Guess" mini-game made a dazzling entrance. In this game, a teacher acted out words while multiple participants worked together to guess. Whether it was abstract artistic expressions or exaggerated physical gestures, they all made the audience burst into laughter. This game not only tested the participants' level of coordination but also strengthened friendships amidst the laughter and joy.

Singing Together

紧接着，是令人期待的“共唱一首歌”环节。在音乐的伴奏下，师生们和外籍朋友们共同合唱了英文歌曲。歌声中，语言的障碍被打破，充满着真挚的情感。这一刻每个人都是彼此的知音，共同编织着跨文化的友谊之网。

Following that was the highly anticipated "Singing Together" segment. Accompanied by music, teachers, students, and international friends joined in a chorus of English songs. In the melodies, language barriers were shattered, and the atmosphere was filled with sincere emotions. At this moment, everyone became kindred spirits, weaving together a web of cross-cultural friendship.

制作甜点

——分享甜蜜，回忆美好

Making Desserts

——Sharing Sweetness, Cherishing Memories

活动期间，主办方为大家准备了食材，在烘焙社成员的指导下亲手制作甜点。精致可口的小甜点，每一口都是对味蕾的极致诱惑。大家在品尝小甜点的同时，也继续交流着彼此的心得体会。时间仿佛在这一刻凝固，留下满满的美好回忆。

During the event, the organizers prepared ingredients for everyone to make desserts under the guidance of the Baking Club members. Each bite of the delicate and delicious desserts was an ultimate temptation for the taste buds. While savoring these sweet treats, participants continued to exchange their insights and experiences. Time seemed to stand still at that moment, leaving behind a wealth of beautiful memories.
