大家下午好！在这个冬意渐浓，暖阳普照的美好时刻，我们欢聚一堂，共同迎来郑州西亚斯学院2024年度科研工作大会暨申硕工作动员大会的胜利召开。首先，请允许我代表郑州西亚斯学院全体师生，向拨冗出席本次大会的各位领导表示最热烈的欢迎和最诚挚的感谢！同时，向长期以来辛勤耕耘在教学与科研一线的全校教职员工致以崇高的敬意。

Good afternoon, everyone!In this delightful winter moment, bathed in the warm rays of sunshine, we joyously convene to mark the triumphant culmination of the 2024 Research Work Conference and Master Program Application Mobilization Meeting. On behalf of the entire faculty, staff, and student community of Sias University, I warmly welcome and deeply thank all the esteemed leaders who have generously dedicated their time to participate in this significant gathering. Moreover, I offer my heartfelt admiration and appreciation to our diligent faculty and staff, who have tirelessly dedicated their expertise and passion to both teaching and research endeavors for a substantial duration.

西亚斯经过26年的办学历程，目前已经成为特色鲜明、优势突出的民办高校。当前，学校正处于“评估”和“申硕”的关键时期，也是“十四五”期间建设特色鲜明的高水平民办大学目标的收官阶段。我们更要清醒地认识到，科研工作对学校未来内涵式发展的关键作用和特殊意义。我校2012年就开始与郑州大学合作实施研究生联培项目，积累了非常丰富的经验和资源。学校要充分发挥这些优势，举全校之力开展申硕建设工作。这需要每一位教职员工充分发挥自身优势，与学校共同努力早日实现这一目标。

After 26 years of operation, Sias has evolved into a private university characterized by its distinctive features and remarkable advantages. Currently, Sias stands at a pivotal juncture, facing the crucial tasks of "assessment" and "master program application," while simultaneously being in the final stretch of the "14th Five-Year Plan" aimed at constructing a high-level private university with unique attributes. It is imperative for us to recognize the vital role and exceptional significance of scientific research in shaping Sias's future connotative development. In 2012, Sias embarked on a collaborative journey with Zhengzhou University to implement a joint master program, through which we have amassed extensive experience and resources. Leveraging these strengths, Sias must mobilize its entire community to vigorously pursue the application for master's degree authorization. This endeavor necessitates each faculty member to harness their unique capabilities and synergize with Sias, striving collectively to achieve this goal as swiftly as possible.

这两年来学校出台了很多激励政策，拿出足额的经费对教师的科研进行配套和奖励。近年来，学校在科研工作方面取得了显著成绩，尤其是省级科研平台取得重大突破，省部级科研项目在民办高校中连年保持领先地位，甚至还超越了一些地方公办本科高校，省级教科研成果奖连年攀升，特别是与郑州大学合作的教研成果获得特等奖。刚刚我们还获批了国家自然科学基金依托单位，这是我校科研工作上又一次重大突破。在此，我向广大科研工作者表示由衷的感谢。

Over the past two years, Sias has implemented numerous incentive policies and allocated substantial funds to support and reward teachers' scientific research endeavors. Recently, Sias has made remarkable strides in scientific research, including significant breakthroughs in the provincial scientific research platform of Henan Province. Meanwhile, Sias has consistently maintained a leading position among private universities in terms of provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects for several years, even outperforming some public universities. Additionally, Sias’s provincial awards in teaching and research have shown a steady increase, with the collaborations with Zhengzhou University standing out, earning a special prize for their efforts. Recently, we have been approved as a supporting unit of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSSFC), marking another significant milestone in Sias's scientific research endeavors. On this occasion, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the vast majority of research workers who have contributed tirelessly to these achievements.

下一步，我们继续营造浓厚的科研氛围，不断加大科研人才引育力度，持续增加科研投入，进一步凝练科研方向、打造科研平台，为西亚斯科研事业的高质量发展，贡献我们全体西亚斯人的智慧和力量！最后，预祝本次大会圆满成功！谢谢大家！

To foster a more vibrant scientific research environment, Sias will continue to enhance the attraction and cultivation of research talents. Our commitment to increasing investments in scientific research will remain steadfast, ensuring ample resources for groundbreaking innovations. By sharpening our research focus and bolstering our scientific research platforms, we will contribute our expertise and energy to the high-quality development of scientific research at Sias University.
