名词性从句（三）
知道如何判断名词性从句之后，我们来练习一下英译汉的翻译吧。
英译汉的翻译
1、Then came the question where we could stay safe for night.
直译：接下来就是我们在哪里过夜的问题了。同位语从句
2、Her biggest concern was that it was going to be very apparent that she was new at that game and perhaps the patient might rebel and demand a real doctor.
她最担心人家一眼看穿自己在医护方面还是个新手，病人也许会因为反感而要一位真正的医生。
Her biggest concern was that（她最担心的是）系表结构，that引导表语从句;
it was going to be very apparent that (这件事将会很明显）it做形式主语，指代that后面的内容，that引导主语从句 翻译转换成“一眼看穿”，就很地道;
she was new at that game（直译：她在那个游戏里是新来的）这里的game有语境意义，需要我们联系下半句来理解;
and perhaps the patient might rebel and demand a real doctor 后面这半句有”patient”“doctor”，所以上面小句的“game”应该翻译成“医护领域”;
the patient might rebel （直译：病人反抗）转换成“病人反感”更为合适;
demand a real doctor（需要一个真正的医生）
3、An obedient son, I had accepted my father’s decision that I was to do a doctor, though the prospect interested me not at all.
An obedient son（作为）一个孝顺的儿子 同位语
that I was to do a doctor同位语从句，我将会成为一名医生
though the prospect interested me not at all尽管（这份工作的）前景我一点儿也不感兴趣
所以整句话的意思就是：
作为一个温顺的孩子，我接受了父亲的决定，准备将来做一名医生，尽管我对行医毫无兴趣
值得注意的是，本句的the prospect（这份工作的前景）翻译为“行医”或者是“从医”更为合适。
