On February 25th, at the beginning of the new semester, the Office of International Affairs organized a culture trip to Dengfeng city, Henan province to visit one of the most famous temples in China-- Shaolin Temple.

        Shaolin Temple has a long history more than 1500 years. It was built in A.D.495 in The Northern Wei Dynasty by Xiaowen emperor. The Shaolin Temple was built by the hills, at the foot of Shaoshi mountain and carries this mountain's name. Shaolin Temple has a reputation for its Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Kongfu, which is its main attraction.

        The foreign teachers enjoyed the Kongfu show and local food there. After being amazed by the majestic buildings and beautiful scenery, they are eagerly looking forward to the next trip.  

2月25日，新学期伊始，国际交流处组织数名外籍教师前往河南省登封市参观天下第一名刹-- 少林寺。

公元495年，北魏孝文帝依山修建少林寺，距今已有1500余年历史。少林寺位于少室山脚下，因其地理位置而得名。少林寺以禅宗和少林功夫而闻名，少林功夫是景区的主要景点。

          在少林寺，外教们欣赏了驰名中外的少林功夫，品尝了独具特色的当地美食。在惊叹于少林寺的宏伟庄严之余，外教们对下一次的旅程又多了一分期待。
